Scott Harris

Scott Harris is rapidly gaining recognition as a multi-talented entertainer. You will hear his silky-smooth Trombone solos soaring out over the band in the tradition of Glen Miller and Tommy Dorsey. At other times he may be heard weaving a skillfully crafted solo on flute or Soprano Saxophone, or trying to sing. As Master Of Ceremonies, he keeps the show moving along with his keen sense of showmanship and his zany humor.

A native of California, Scott has performed throughout the U.S., Canada, and Western and Eastern Europe, including France, Romania, Italy, Poland, Austria, Czechoslovakia, and the former Soviet Union. In 1986, he performed at the July 4 Liberty Centennial in New York City. He is also the director of the Santa Cruz Brass Quintet and a member of the "new age" recording ensemble, Jupiter II. He is in demand as a session musician and sideman, frequently appearing with all sorts of groups from symphony orchestras to rock and roll bands.

Scott started his big band in 1980.

The Scott Harris Big Band is the ideal entertainment for conventions, weddings,  parties, openings, receptions, reunions, trade shows, dinner dances, fund raisers, night clubs, cruise ships. Make your event special, one your guests will remember for years to come...truly first-class entertainment.
