An hour-long album of space music by JUPITER II featuring a subtle interplay of acoustic and electronic music. Flute, trombone, saxophone, violin, piano, nature's sounds, and a variety of synthesizers create an atmosphere of luxurious comfort. Ideal for meditation, massage, or simply a moment's respite from a hectic world.
The album features melodic wind and string expressions emerging from a gentle wash of synthesized textures, Pacific Skies includes seven original works of great variety and depth. The music includes pieces which are derived from inspired improvisitations as well as pieces which are fully composed. The entire effort is the culmination of five years' collaboration by three Northern California musicians: Lindy Mack, Vicki Mack, and Scott Harris.
